Theme : Alexander the Great
Originally prepared for Alexander the Great’s birthday.
It is intended for use in social games like FGO.
A total of 4 version were created for the evolution.
This work represents the second evolution.
In this piece imagined Alexander the Great as King of Macedonia.
In recent studies, Alexander’s achievements have been reassessed and he is seen as less of a charismatic hero and more of a human being.
It is also believed that Alexander was a “man” who sought immortal glory.
Therefore, this statue of Alexander is not a charismatic hero, but rather an image of a great king pursuing immortal honor.
Initially, I was going to portray him as a cold-hearted Alexander, who slaughtered and purged Asiatics in his later years, but I softened his expression a bit because I could not see his side as a good commander.
The armor design is mainly Macedonian, with a slight Roman touch.
The background is not a real river, but I was inspired by “The desire to reach the world across the river seized him” in Arianos’ “The Eastern Expedition of Alexander the Great” and made this design.
The target audience this time was set at young women who like games with historical motifs.
I believe that whether an anime or game is a hit or not is related to whether it is easy to create secondary works.
In particular, I think that Vocaloid, Touhou Project, and Fate works are truly big hits because of the freedom of secondary creation.
From this perspective, in addition to the dramatic life of Daioh, I have kept the design simple to make it easy for others to create secondary works.
Such a simple and easily secondary design will help promote your company.
